JOANNIE ROCHETTE TO MAKE FOUR GUEST APPEARANCES IN SMUCKER’S STARS ON ICE TOUR

CANADA’S INSPIRATIONAL STAR OF THE VANCOUVER OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES TO PERFORM IN FOUR AMERICAN CITIES

DENVER, Colo. (March 16, 2010) – Olympic Bronze Medalist Joannie Rochette, who won over the hearts of millions of fans around the world after her triumphant performance at the Vancouver Olympic Winter Games, will perform in four shows in Smucker’s Stars on Ice beginning on the first night of the tour, April 1 in Fort Myers, Fla.

Rochette, of Canada, skated to a bronze medal in Vancouver just days after her mother died of a heart attack, and became the most inspirational story Olympics. In addition to performing in the tour opener, Rochette also will skate in three other Florida shows: April 2 in Fort Lauderdale, April 3 in Orlando and April 4 in Tampa.

The Smucker’s Stars on Ice tour is headlined by 2010 Olympic Gold Medalist Evan Lysacek; 2010 Olympic Silver Medalists Meryl Davis & Charlie White; 2006 Olympic Silver Medalists & 2010 Olympians Tanith Belbin & Benjamin Agosto; two-time U.S. Champion & 2010 Olympian Jeremy Abbott and 2006 Olympic Silver Medalist Sasha Cohen.

World Champion & Six-Time U.S. Champion Todd Eldredge; Two-Time World Bronze Medalist & Three-Time U.S. Champion Michael Weiss; World Champion & Two-Time Japanese Ladies Champion Yuka Sato; and 2009 U.S. Champion Alissa Czisny will join these Vancouver Olympians.

Many more stars are expected to make select guest appearances throughout the 41-city tour, including 2010 Olympic Gold Medalists Xue Shen & Hongbo Zhao, 2010 Olympic Silver Medalists Qing Pang & Jian Tong, and 2010 Olympian and 2007 World Champion Miki Ando, 2008 U.S. Champion & 2010 Olympian Mirai Nagasu, 2010 Olympian and reigning U.S. Champion Rachael Flatt.
